Myeik (Mergui) Archipelago
The Mergui Archipelago (also Myeik Archipelago) is located in southern most part of Myanmar, covering and area of 36,000 sq. kilometers, comprises over 800 islands north and east of Burma Banks, the secret jewel of the Andaman Sea. Some islands have amazing sea fans, huge boulders and soft corals. Other islands offer wall diving, tunnels and caverns. Largely untouched and offering diving adventures away from the usual tourist grind, these fascinating islands are sure to impress.
